Maximizing Productivity with Multiple Chat Agents
Here’s what you need to know: leveraging multiple chat agents can significantly enhance your productivity. My journey in utilizing these tools began with my first chat agent, ChatGPT. I quickly discovered that by adding other agents, I could streamline my work and increase efficiency.
The Evolution of My Chat Agent Team
After starting with ChatGPT, I found Microsoft Copilot, which seamlessly integrates with Teams meeting recordings. This tool proved incredibly useful for managing my meetings and ensuring I had all necessary notes at my fingertips. And yes, it also lives within all the Office apps making it a specialist in my document authoring work.
Upon upgrading my Pixel phone last year, I added Google’s Gemini. The buzz around Gemini was hard to ignore, and I was interested to see how it could contribute to my workflow. Soon after, I also incorporated Claude into my roster of chat agents.
My Chat Agent Direct Reports
You might think I need to focus more on one chat experience, but I argue that my “Chat Agent Direct Reports” help me become more productive. I view these chat agents as an essential part of my team. Each agent operates like a member of my staff, capable of carrying out delegated instructions that significantly reduce my workload.
Collaboration Between Agents
An interesting aspect of my workflow is using these chat agents to collaborate with each other. For instance, there are times when I have one agent prepare instructions for another. For example, recently I had Claude review a PDF created by a Replit app, the Replit app was vibe coded using the Replit agent. After reviewing the PDF, Claude drafted instructions that guided the Replit Agent on how to enhance the document's formatting. This kind of cross agent collaboration not only maximizes efficiency but also improves the quality of the outputs.
As you use the different agents, you learn what they are best at and when to use them. In future posts I will share some of the things i've found best with each of the chat agents.
